“Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body”

The People’s Book Prize Award is a national competition aimed at finding, supporting and promoting new and undiscovered works. It not only promotes books and new authors but especially promotes reading. Each click and vote raises the site’s profile and makes a difference. The award was set up by Beryl Bainbridge and can boasts patrons such as Frederick Forsyth CBE. The People’s Book Prize award team are due to appear on the BBC2 programme Eggheads later this year.

It means a huge amount to me and I appreciate your vote more than you’ll know. I hope to see you at the award ceremony on the 28th.  A huge thank you from me and Mr Grumpy.
