That whooshing noise you can here is us steaming up towards the end of another year. My how it’s flown past. That’s definitely a sign that we are getting older, isn’t it? Time seems to go by more quickly. I’m not complaining though, because 2013 was very kind to me and as always. I have been remembering all the high points and am grateful for them and for all the people who have made much of what happened this year, possible

I’m not going to crow about all the great stuff that happened or whine about how my health suffered and left me struggling some days, no, I am just going to say loud ‘Thank You’ to all of you for being part of my life and for your friendship and support.

So, here is my writing year, summed up in a few pictures. Some important events aren’t on it, so thanks to the wonderful folk at Indies Unlimited. I’m proud to be part of such a talented team and to be a contributing author for four of the books they have published. Thanks to the Huffington Post for letting me blog random posts every month and to all the websites and magazines who have accepted features from me.

2013 a year in pictures

A whopping huge thank you to everyone who has hosted me as part of one of the many virtual tours I undertook this year, and special thanks to the organisers of these events: Carol Wright, Charlotte Foreman, Sharon Goodwin and Cheryl Mash.

My grateful thanks to all the beta readers and editors who worked on my books: Cathy Speight, Al Kunz, Chris James to mention only a few, because there is no room here to thank everyone personally

safkhetI can’t leave this year without thanking my publishers, ThornBerry Publishing and Safkhet Publishing. Thank you for believing in me and for your support.ThornBerry Publishers

I end with enormous thanks to Aimee Bell of Author Design Studio for maintaining my official website for me and putting  with requests every five minutes to update it, and to Ben Cameron who has undoubtedly been responsible for my media success this year.

This blog is going offline for a while because I need to work on some projects for next year. It will be back mid-January. Here’s a taster of what you can expect first from me:

I sincerely hope 2014 brings you all good health, fortune and much, much happiness. After all, we’re here for a good time not a long time!
