“Have you started to write post-it notes with your kids’ names on them? Do you need to change your underwear after every sneeze? Guess it’s time to read this book then. It’ll help you get through “that” time in your life with a spring in your step and a smile on your face. (Yeah right!)”
Grumpy Old Menopause by Carol E Wyer
The opening paragraph of my next book will give you a clue to its subject. Yes, the sister book to How Not to Murder Your Grumpy is in the final stages of preparation. However, behind all the fun, humour and laughs in this forthcoming book, is a serious message. Women going through this stage of their lives need to know that they are not alone. It can be a frightening or lonely time.
I recently met a super chap called Kris Smith in a group on Facebook. He pointed me to his website and to this summit that starts today. It is an online summit and you can watch all the presentations whenever you want from the comfort of your room. It is free of charge. He has lots of experts speaking about this subject. It begins at 9am Pacific Standard time TODAY!
If you need some advice, help or just are curious as to what to expect as you go through this phase of your life, then check out this summit. I’ll be nipping along too.
