No, I haven’t begun a new language. The last few weeks I have been checking out other sites that might be useful for writers or readers and I have been having a wonderful time.

Many of you know that I have a problem. I am addicted to the internet. There can’t be many social media sites left for me to explore. You’ll nearly always find me lurking about at Facebook or on Twitter, Goodreads, Shelfari, Triberr and so on However, this month I have been happily exploring the benefits and enjoying Squidoo and Wattpad. I wish I had made the effort sooner.

I am chatting about Squidoo at Indies Unlimited after 12pm UK time, so I won’t repeat myself here, but I urge you to nip over and read my post. If you don’t have a blog, or if you fancy earning extra money, if you would merely like more exposure on the internet or if you just want to be creative, then it is worth considering Squidoo. I like it even more than I do Pinterest!

Wattpad has been used by quite a few of my fellow authors for some time. I never thought about using it until I was routing about on my laptop and discovered I had a few stories stored there that aren’t what you would expect from me. Wattpad allows me to share short stories or novellas that are not my usual genre with readers. I have put up a short story for you to look at. It is in my usual genre although I worte it a while ago before all my novels. I put it up for my followers and readers. Within a few hours I had an exciting offer form someone who enjoyed it. I’ll tell you more about it another day! In the meantime, here is the link if you’d like to read Milly’s Magical Moment. (Yes, it’s true. Yes, it happened. Yes, it happened to me!) Click HERE to read it. Hope it makes you smile.
